The club welcomes all owners, drivers and enthusiasts of any Type 2, it doesn't matter if it's a camper or commercial. They don't have to be in concourse condition or standard, in fact if it's a Type 2 and you like it, please join us. For those of you who own one of the new front engined Transporters the club has been extended and now welcomes you as well.

The club was set up originally with a number of aims for which we will continue to strive, these are: To keep alive the Type 2, which is rapidly becoming a Classic Vehicle in it's own right. To ensure continuity of spares, to enable us to keep our beloved Type 2's where they belong, on the road. To provide an information and news service to all club members through the club magazine - TRANSPORTER TALK, which is published every two months. Transporter Talk gives us all an ideal way to stay in touch with other members or pass on tips & ideas. Discount schemes are in place and new ideas for ways to help us all save money are always being sought.
