Inside you will find all the essentials and creature comforts you would expect to find in one of the flagship motorhome models of the Swift range. Built on a Fiat Ducato this camper van is powered by Fiat's renowned 2.8 Turbo Diesel, returning around 30 mpg and fitted with power steering, making it very car like to drive, this really is a Grand Tourer to be reckoned with.
The large over-cab double bed is spacious and airy, and has a netted bed guard for extra safety for your little ones. A further large single or small double convertible bed is situated in the front of the motorhome. At the rear of the motorhome are two single beds or an extra large double bed with a wall divider for that little extra privacy, making sleeping arrangements so versatile it will suit any family or group.
There is a fully integrated kitchen with a large oven and separate grill, the hob has four rings, 1x electric and 3x gas plus a cooker hood, extractor fan and down-lighting. You will find a large fridge with a freezer compartment which runs on electric, gas or the 12v battery. The sink unit has hot and cold running water. You will find the kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and all the cooking utensils you may need during your holiday so there is no need to pack anything from home.
The Kontiki has a well-appointed and spacious washroom where you will find an extremely generous sized shower that has excellent water temperature controls and a sliding door to minimise water spillage. There is also a small in-shower seating area ideal for younger children. You will find a flush cassette toilet, good size wash basin and plenty of storage for towels and toiletries.
In the rear of the vehicle there is the unique U-shaped lounge area where the family can relax, unwind and watch the world go by, or maybe view one of the many recently released DVDs that come supplied as standard with your motorhome or perhaps catch up with your favourite programme on the 15" flat-screen TV. This area can be partitioned off from the rest of the motorhome, particularly useful when you need that extra bit of privacy.
The Kontiki is fully winter-proofed with its double glazed windows, excellent insulation and a very efficient hot air heating system making it especially suitable for winter touring, so if you fancy storm watching on the cliffs in Cornwall or perhaps Christmas dinner in Lakeland, you will always have a warm and cosy motorhome to relax in.
Outside you will find a full length side awning perfect for enjoying an al fresco meal or just sitting under on a really hot day. At the rear there is a 3 cycle bike rack and a roof ladder to secure those larger items to the roof rails. You will also find a reversing camera linked to a 6" colour screen inside the cab to help make reversing easy.
