Motorhoming in Paris
Whilst venturing into Paris with your motorhome is definitely not for the faint hearted and probably not advisable, you can still profit from the beautiful capital of France if you plan to do some motorhome travel in France. Motorhoming in Val d’Oise, motorhoming in Essonne, motorhoming in Seine et Marne or motorhoming in Yvelines is the ideal opportunity to find a free Aires de Service in Ile de France and take to local transport with the natives.
The city of Paris is divided into twenty quarters or ‘arrondissements’. The city possesses an architectural heritage without comparison and a plethora of monuments. Just wandering around the streets is a feast for the eyes and when visiting for the first time, Paris really inspires a sense of wonder. You can also find a café terrace where you can watch the Parisians going about their daily business and just take in the atmosphere.
Decide what you want to see and organize your day if you want to visit the tourist attractions of the city. The Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, the Basilique du Sacré Coeur at Montmartre – so many wonderful sights to see. Stroll along the Champs Elysée and do a little ‘lèche vitrine’ or window shopping before passing through the Arc de Triumph situated at the end of this beautiful, wide boulevard. There are also a multitude of museums to visit to suit every taste.
Paris is really a multi faceted city, traditional and avant-gardiste, pacey or relaxing, whichever way you want to do the tour, it’s really up to you.
